I love to travel the world, but there is one problem...getting there! Since being diagnosed with Migraine with Aura's I have become anxious with the thought of flying and what kitchen sink I can pack to get me through! I know some of you may also suffer from feeling claustrophobic. Stuck in a tight space (seat) inside a tight space (the plane) for an indefinite period of time (a delay). I hope you’re not getting nervous just from reading this!

Cefaly

Through this electrode it produces precise micro-pulses on the upper branch of the trigeminal nerve to treat migraine - setting for 60 minutes really helps with helping the flight time whiz by! - Lavender eye pillow - The aroma of the lavender helps to calm an anxious mind, while the weight of the pillow blocks out light and gives a general feeling of safety and bliss. Or pop some lavender essential oil drops onto any eye mask for the same effect.
-
Keyring diffuser with peppermint oil
Pop a few drops onto the wooden porous beads and helps eliminate any strong smells and gives you a refreshing uplift while you are getting to the gate! Peppermint promotes open airways. It’s also great for calming queasy tummies, which can be helpful during turbulence. - Geo Cut glass roller ball with migraine support oils as well as great for anxiety - Lavender essential oil It has pain relief properties that are safe and effective when dealing with a migraine. Peppermint also helps to cool the body. During moments of “heightened concern”, I get really hot and start shedding clothes like crazy. No kidding. My shoes and socks come off, then the scarf, jacket…any extra layers are removed.- Lemon essential oil It's earthy, citrus aroma has calming and soothing effects. It is uplifting and cleansing to help with the discomfort of a migraine. I rolled each oil onto my wrists and the back of my neck before boarding, at take off and landing, and any time in between when I began to feel anxious or my head pain is coming on.
How to make up the refillable Geo Cut glass roller ball before the flight:
- Using the funnel, place in the geo cut glass bottle top and pour the whole bottle of carrier oil in. Add your essential oil. We recommend 15 drops of essential oils to carrier oil (5-10%) Enjoy the magic of making your own blend!
- Push on the roller ball lid securely. Dab on pressure points (wrist, neck, temples) throughout the flight.
